Additionally, EarthKind issued solar Requests for Proposals (RFPs), negotiated contracts, and obtained an impressive $293,910 in solar cash incentives. Engaged by a real estate developer during the renovation of the Harrison Playhouse Lofts, EarthKind Energy identified overlooked utility incentives for high-efficiency HVAC systems. 3. Residential Geothermal Project (Westchester County, New York):
EarthKind represented a residential client constructing a new 13,000 square foot home with geothermal heating and cooling in Larchmont, NY. The client received an impressive $158,730 from the utility, marking the largest residential geothermal incentive in the state's history. Serving as NYSBA’s clean energy consultant since 2015, EarthKind created a solar project providing 20% of NYSBA’s electricity, secured incentives for EVs and charging stations, developed a “Clean Fleet Transition Plan,” and crafted a “Building Decarbonization Plan” to transition away from fossil-fueled heating.
